Notes: Lucas was picked up as a stray and was the most emaciated dog our animal control officers and humane agents have seen still standing, weighing in at 14 lbs. After 3 weeks, lots of extra love and attention he is a hefty 40 lbs., feeling great and loves to get "down and dirty". One picture is of Lucas when he arrived at our facility. Notes: Tennelly was seized from her owner who didn't bother to feed her. One photo is of her when our Humane Agents seized her and the other is of her now. It is amazing what a little food and love did for her. At the shelter we call her "Tap-Dancin' Tennelly" because everytime she sees someone she dances with her front paws. She is such a sweet girl. Happily, we prosecuted her owner. He was recently found guilty and she is ours now. Unfortunately, we found out that she is heartworm positive. With the help of a donation we are having her treated before she is adopted. She has been through so much that we would love to see her spoiled by a great family!
