Homer Hutcheson

My name is Homer Hutcheson, and I have been a Madison Township Trustee for 18 years and a Madison resident for 40 years. I served in the military for 2 years and I am a veteran. I am the former owner/operator of Hutcheson Transmission, from which I retired after 35 years.

 I have been married to Betty for 23 years, and between us we have 8 children, 14 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. The grandchildren have all attended the Madison School District. My hobbies are collecting antique tractors and coon hunting. I am a member of the Richland County Township Association, the Richland County Tax Incentive Review Council, and in the past I have been Chairman and Vice-Chairman Trustee of Madison Township.

In the past I teamed with the other township trustees to generate money for our Fire Department on squad runs, raising about $250,000 per year from insurance companies. Over the years I have worked hard to help any and all of the citizens who have come to me with township problems, and I will continue to do the same in the future if I am re-elected.

I have enjoyed working for the people of Madison Township over the past 18 years. I feel I have a vested interest and a proven track record in the Madison Community.
