Kenneth Burrer Jr.

Kenneth Burrer Jr.
Candidate for Bloominggrove Twp. Trustee
419-566-3487
cburrer@embarqmail.com
6600 Ranson Road
Shiloh  OH  44878

I am married and have 1 daughter, 2 sons and 3 grandsons.  I am a 1970 graduate of Plymouth High School...having attended Pioneer Joint Vocational School for 2 yrs. studying agricultural mechanics.
I have served as a Bloominggrove Twp. Trustee since 2002.  I am also the  representative for our twp. serving on the board for the CB&S Fire District.  I served on the Richland County Soil & Water Conservation District board for 9 years.
Key issues that I am presently focusing on is the budget - for both the township and our fire district.  Staying within our budget but also trying to keep our township and fire district running is first and foremost.  Our township also has 1 last gravel road and I would like to be able to see that road paved.
Bloominggrove Township is primarily an agricultural township, and because of the number of active farms in the township, I am seeing larger, heavier trucks using our twp. roads to serve the local farms.  This brings the need for a road improvement plan and trying to maintain our twp. roads.  I try to weekly drive our twp. roads so that I can look for any trouble spots.  By doing this, our twp. can hopefully keep a small problem from becoming a larger, more costly one.
I have lived in this area all of my life.  I am out among the people.  I believe that I can contribute to the betterment of our township.  This job can't be learned overnight.  I have 8 yrs. of township trustee experience that I can draw from to keep Bloominggrove Township on the right path for our residents and businesses.
