 I was born in Norton, VA and I graduated from Anderson (IN) University.

 I have been a pastor my entire career and have pastored churches in Akron, amd Toledo, OH, Norton, VA and West Palm Beach, FL.  My last pastorate was at the Ontario First Church of God, where I served a total of 20 years and was instrumental in leading the church to add a 16,000 square foot Family Life Center and begin the Upward Basketball Program, which reaches 700 children annually. 

 My wife, Beverly, and I have been married 44 years.  We have two adult sons, Michael and wife, Tracy, who live in West Palm Beach, FL and Mark and wife, Leanne, who live in the Ontario School District.  We have four grandchildren, Jacob, Allison, Madeline and Mara.

 My qualifications include:  over 30 years as a Proven Servant Leader, over 30 years in Administration and Management, over 30 years in Budgeting and Fiscal Responsibility, over 30 years leading a Multiple Staff.  I bring  a lifetime of integrity, dependability, trustworthiness, vision, planning, listening, caring and connecting with people.  I have been an Ontario resident for 13 years and a local area resident for a total of 23 years.  I have attended every City Council meeting since September 2008. 

 Ontario’s next mayor must be a strong leader who has a plan for dealing with our present and future challenges.  I have that plan.

  Issue #1  The plan that I bring will ensure our recovery as survivors, not victims.  I will ask citizens, business and government leaders to join me as we draw the specifics of the plan.  The plan will help us manage our resources, live within budget, improve services, support and encourage local businesses, promote reasonable, managed growth and make Ontario a place where new business and families want to locate.

  Issue #2  I am an experienced NEW leader for Ontario.  I will bring a lifetime of proven servant leadership, dependability and integrity to the mayor’s office.  I will make a positive difference for the City of Ontario.
