I was elected to my first term in 2006, and currently serve as Vice-Chairman.  Throughout that first term, I have proven to be very reliable, dedicated, accessible, and effective.   I have developed a strong record of fiscally sound decision making and planning.   We as a township continue to manage funds effectively to avoid loans and debt, helping to ensure our Township taxes stay low.  Furthermore, I have made it a priority to keep residents informed about Township business.  We developed a Township web-site (www.sanduskytownship.net) which has been widely used for questions about zoning laws, as well as providing needed contact information and viewing local happenings. To further keep you informed, we also initiated and produced a bi-annual township newsletter highlighting topics important to us all.
I feel voters should re-elect me to help keep the Township heading in the right direction.  I have listened to the voters concerns and responded with action.  With our uncertain economy, decreasing property values, and constant loss of funding, this is a vital election to us all.   I believe that I possess the needed experience, education, leadership and decision making skills necessary to continue moving forward in these critical times. Finally, I have worked extremely hard on behalf of Sandusky Township residents over the last 4 years and responded quickly to their needs, none of my opponents can match this type of commitment or service.   Please vote November 3rd to re-elect me, Phil Jackson, Sandusky Township Trustee
