MANSFIELD, OH - The Renaissance will show the second film in its year-long Stephen King Film Festival, "The Dead Zone," on February 15 at 7:00 PM.

The festival launched last week with a screening of “The Shawshank Redemption” during the theatre’s 90th Anniversary Celebration. The film festival is presented thanks to funding from Charles P. Hahn, Cleveland Financial with guest speakers provided by the Mansfield/Richland County Public Library.

Prior to the screening, a brief lecture about the film will be given at 6:30 PM from the stage of the theatre by Annie Tarpley, paranormal expert, and founder of History and Haunts Paranormal Research Team. Ms. Tarpley has traveled the country along with her team to investigate paranormal encounters, specializing in local historic research with a more in-depth investigation using psychic and scientific methods. She is currently editing a soon-to-be-released book about a paranormal investigation at the Resaca Civil War Battlefield in Georgia.

The remaining films in the series include Misery, March 15; Stand By Me, June 21; Cujo, July 19; IT (New version), August 16; Carrie, October 18; The Mist, November 15; and The Shining, December 13.

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased in advance at the Renaissance Box Office, at the door, via phone at (419) 522-2726 and online at MansfieldTickets.com/film.
