MANSFIELD, OH - Independent Book Store Day will be held on Saturday, April 28th this year as a way to celebrate locally owned bookstores.

Main Street Books, located at 104 North Main Street, will be participating in the national event by providing book-related snacks, contests, and activities.

You can stop in between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on April 28th for a chance to win prizes, spend time with other book-lovers, and give to a worthy cause.

Main Street Books will also be participating in a book drive for the Big Red Bookshelf, in conjunction with the United Way. Any book purchased on Saturday, April 14th with the purpose of being donated to the drive will be discounted by 20%. 

The Big Red Bookshelf project provides new or gently-used books to children, from toddlers to third-graders, in select locations throughout Richland County where families with young children regularly visit.
