LOUDONVILLE, OH - The 2018 Great Mohican Pow-Wow, a festival held near the village of Loudonville to celebrate Native American culture and heritage, will take place July 13th through July 15th, and again from September 14th through September 16th.

The festival, one of the longest-running in the state, has been held for over 30 years. Visitors return every year for traditional hoop-dancing, flute music, and specially-made foods such as Buffalo Burgers and Native American tacos.

"It's one of the last Pow-Wows in the state of Ohio where you will see authentic Native American people dancing," said Robbi Swift, the Great Mohican Pow-Wow's vendor coordinator. "You'll also hear Native American music, drums. There are so many vendors in one spot. It's been going on thirty years and it's still here, so it's outlasted a lot of things. It's a beautiful setting."

To purchase tickets or for more information on the Great Mohican Pow-Wow, visit the festival's website.
