MANSFIELD, OH- The Mansfield Division of Police and Mansfield City School District are teaming up with the ALICE Training Institute to bring ALICE Training Instructor Certification to Mansfield.

The course will be held on July 18th and 19th at Mansfield Senior High School, 124 N. Linden Road.

Completion of this training program allows you to become an ALICE Certified Instructor (ACI). The price of the training is $595, and registration can be completed online here. ALICE Instructor Certification lasts for 2 years and is renewed online through the ALICE Instructor Re-certification e-Learning course.

This two-day instructor course is designed to teach proactive survival strategies for violent intruder or active shooter incidents with the goal of providing individuals with survival-enhancing options for those critical moments in the gap between when a violent situation begins and when law enforcement arrives on the scene.

ALICE stands for Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, and Evacuate. It can be beneficial for everyone: law enforcement, schools, universities, hospitals, businesses, and places of worship. Completing the ALICE Training Instructor Certification course provides individuals with certification in ALICE and allows them the opportunity to bring the strategies back to their places of work. Registrants will also gain access to exclusive ALICE resources.
