MANSFIELD, OH - Johnny’s Mattress and Furniture Superstore announced its fifth annual Great Sleep-Out Against Domestic Violence.

On August 30th teams will gather under a 60-foot tent in the parking lot of Johnny’s Mattress and Furniture Superstore to see who can stay awake the longest. Various teams will be raising funds for the Richland County Domestic Violence Shelter and food vendors will be donating a portion of their proceeds. Trophies will be given to the team that raises the most money and the team that stays awake the longest. Teams can be sponsored by local businesses, and there will be a drop-off location for household and food items for the shelter as well as donations from the public.

On the evening of August 31st, there will be a Midnight Cruise Car Show. There are no entrance fees, but all donations will go to the shelter.

Last year’s event raised over $25,000 for the shelter.
