Civil War Reenactment Brings History Alive This Weekend

CRAWFORD COUNTY, OH- The Crawford Park District is hosting a Civil War Reenactment on June 29 and 30.

The reenactment will last from 8am to 3pm on Saturday and 8am to 1pm on Sunday at Unger Park on 1303 Bucyrus Nevada Road.

The event features period demonstrations, interactive activities and children can even experience what it was like to be a soldier.

The schedule for the weekend is as follows:

 

Saturday:
8:00-10:30am: Company Drill
11:00am:  Battle Reenactment
12:00pm: Spector Volunteer Drill & Visit Camps
1:00pm: A Soldier’s Accoutrements
3:00pm:  Event is closed to the General Public
9:30 pm:  Astronomy Program (weather permitting)

Sunday
8:00-10:30am: Company Drill
11:00am:  Battle Reenactment
12:00pm: Spector Volunteer Drill & Visit Camps
