Third grade students from Newman and Sherman Elementary school's in Mansfield visited Daysping in Richland County today to celebrate Easter with the residents. The students earned the privelage by being standouts in the classroom.

Doc Stumbo, Public Relations Director for Graham's Auto Mall in Mansfield helped establish the relationship between the publics school's and assisted living facility some eight years ago and the bond between the two has developed ever sense. The students and residents get together four times each year, for Easter, Valentine's Day, Christmas and a summer cookout, and Stumbo says it's always great to see how much each side enjoys spending time with the other.

On Wednesday, a total of 45 students celebrated Easter with the residents by bringing them Easter baskets, cards and candy. They also participated in group activities, games, dyed eggs and had lunch together.
