The Richland County Solid Waste Management Authority has tallied the votes and announced the winners of its recycling poster contest.

At the elementary level, they are; Sacred Heart School second-grader Brooklyn Gwirtz, Sherman third-grader Seth Voies, Joshua Wurth of Mifflin and Reghan Rall of Scared Heart in fourth grade, and Shelby Saint Mary's fifth-grader Blake Fetzer.

At the middle school level, they are; Mifflin Elementary sixth-graders Madison Bishop and Paige Swartz, and Madison Junior High eighth-graders Alyson Holzworth and Lindsey Armitage.

The only high school submission was from Jaime Robinson of Lucas.

The three overall winners will be announced at the May board meeting. 

The winning posters will appear on the Solid Waste Authority's next calendar.
