Helping our furry friends who can't help themselves, is one of the most selfless things we can do. And a great opportunity to do that is coming up Friday, May 16th!

The Richland County Humane Society teams up with All About the Paw Pet Rescue to bring "Raise the Woof" Comedy show to Mansfield. All proceeds from this event go directly to these groups, to help the many animals in their care.

Adoption fees may seem high at $225, but the shelters rarely see any of that. They spay/neuter/vaccinate and microchip all adoptable pets. And most times, they absorb the extra cost of these procedures.

That's where we come in! The funds raised at events like this help cover those costs, and keep the shelters running. Supervisor of the RCHS, Missy Houghton hopes this event will become an annual fundraiser.

The event will be held at the Westbrook Country Club. Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased up to the day of the event at the RCHS. For more information, call the RCHS at 419-774-4795 or online at adoptourstrays.com
