Once a year Richland County Mental Health and Recovery Services gets everybody together so the board can give updates on the agencies efforts.

Executive Director Joe Trolian spoke proudly of a unique program which provides services to individuals who are incarcerated, and also of the agencies new work readiness program, geared to help workers pass drug tests for new jobs.

Board members were also sworn in and heard from Landa Harrison, Senior Project Manager for the ANDRUS Sanctuary Institute, who will also be the keynote speaker for the agencies inaugural Recovery Conference. Trolian says the model used by Harrison is something he would like to implement in Richland County.
