Lowe-Volk Park's Living History day brought re-enactments and historical information to Crawford County.

Says park director Bill Fisher, "We (Crawford County) were named after Colonel Crawford, who was captured very near this property. We like to bring (the history) to the public's attention, have them learn about what happened then at his capture, and how important that was."

The historians and re-enactments were period appropriate, with costumes and formal attire looking sharp as ever. For a full calendar of events, visit Lowe-Volk Park's website.
