Law enforcement officers and senior citizens from across Ohio gather in Ashland County Thursday for the state Triad conference, hosted by Sheriff Wayne Risner. Triad is a nationwide program that has police, sheriffs, and seniors working together to prevent abuse of and crimes against the elderly. Triad includes an organization called SALT, Seniors and Law Enforcement Working Together, which has been successful with keeping seniors safe. The conference included a visit by a Metro Health Medical Center Life-Flight helicopter.
