WMFD Sports along with Twin Lakes Golf Course in Mansfield, brought hundreds out on Sunday afternoon to try out a new crossover sport.

The sport is called "Foot Golf" and it's a combination of both golf and soccer. Players kick a soccer ball around the foot golf course, trying to make it into a 21-inch cup.

WMFD's Brian Skowronski took part in the event and asked players about their experience with the new sport. The general consensus seemed to be that foot golf is a great time, but is perhaps more challenging than many were anticipating.

Another foot golf event will be held at Twin Lakes on Sunday, July 13 from 8 am to 7 pm. The cost is just $10 per player or $15 with a cart for 9 holes.
