A total of 2.7 pounds of marijuana with a street value of $9,275 and nearly $800 in cash is recovered during a raid in Ashland.

City Police and METRICH drug enforcement officers executed a search warrant at a residence at 802 Cottage St. Tuesday morning.

Authorities arrested Kirk Bennett, 36, for trafficking marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and criminal tools.
