Richland Public Health offers free Hepatitis tests next Monday, May 19th at its clinic at 555 Lexington Avenue in Mansfield. May is Hepatitis Awareness Month, and Monday is the national testing day. The testing focuses on Hepatitis C, the most common form of the liver disease. The test takes just a few minutes and involves drawing blood from your fingertip. Hepatitis is not contagious through saliva or sexual contact, but can be transmitted to others. The free Hepatitis testing is from eight to three next Monday. You can either call Richland Public Health to make an appointment, or just walk in. The results come back in about ten days.
