Prison sentences are given to two of the three former trustees for the Mansfield Tyger All-Sports Booster Club for taking $200,000 for their personal use.

Former Mansfield police officer William Clemons, his wife Kendall Clemons, and Cheryl Patrick stood before Richland County Common Pleas Judge James DeWeese Monday afternoon to learn their fates on the charges to which they earlier pled guilty.

William Clemons was sentenced to one year in prison, with five years of probation, and three years deferred should he violate probation. He also must pay $12,000 in restitution.

Kendall Clemons was sentenced to one year in prison, with five years of probation, and 10 years deferred should she violate probation. She also must pay $93,795 in restitution.

Cheryl Patrick was given a suspended 12-month county jail sentence for her conviction of three first-degree misdemeanors. She also must serve two years of probation and pay $36,000 in restitution.

William and Kendall Clemons were each led away in handcuffs to begin their prison sentences. The Assistant Ohio Attorney General handling the case asked that fines not be imposed, so all of the defendants would have enough money to make restitution to the Booster Club.
