Mansfield's annual Memorial Day parade steps-off under a sun-splashed sky, along a star-spangled Park Avenue West. Hundreds of flag-waiving spectators lined the street Monday morning to watch one of the city's favorite and largest of parades. The parade featured forty entries including veterans' groups and the Mansfield Senior, Madison, Clear Fork, and St. Peter's high school marching bands. A ceremony is held at the Doughboy statue, followed by a 21 gun slaute and taps at the Korean War Memorial, before the parade, with another ceremony afterward.
