The first summer concert series at Marshall Park was a success and Ontario Council has plans to make them even better.

At the Ontario City Council meeting Thursday night, Mayor Hutchinson said the response from the community regarding the Free Summer Concert Series was great, they hope to add concessions, karaoke and local talent nights in the future.

Council also accepted a bid to purchase the new water meter system. The city's current system is "failing at a high rate" and this new system promises convenience and accuracy. Installation of new meters begins this summer and should be completed within 6 months.
