Lauren Beard Crowned Miss Ontario 2014 At Pageant

The 2014 Miss Ontario Pageant was held at Ontario Middle School on Saturday night. At the end of the pageant, Lauren Beard was crowned Miss Ontario 2014. Lauren is a sophomore at Ontario High School and aspires to be a ballet dancer. She also wants to advance into physical therapy.

The first runner-up was Allyson Knapp, a senior at Pioneer Career and Technology Center. The pageant's second runner-up was Taylor Schwein, another Ontario High School sophomore.

Contestants had to take part in several activities in the pageant, including dances and fashion picks, from casual to formal wear.

Miss Ontario 2014 will participate in several community events such as the Ontario Fourth of July festival.
