Shelby Bicycle Days Starts Thursday Afternoon

The biggest party of the year in Shelby starts at four o'clock Thursday afternoon and runs through Saturday. They were getting set-up Thursday morning for Bicycle Days, a three-day festival with plenty of food, rides for the kids, and other activities. Five-to-seven-thousand people are expected each day. The parade is Saturday at two p-m. It will go from Grand Boulevard, down Main Street, to Gamble Street, to Tucker Field. Black Fork Street is closed Thursday through Saturday. Washington Street closes Friday from 4 to 8:30 pm. Main Street closes Saturday from 2 to 3:30 pm.  For the schedule of activities go to www.shelbybicycledays.com.
