| Woes are piling up in Norwalk. A week after a devastating flood caused widespread damage in the city and much of Huron County, firefighters spent most of Wednesday tending to a fire which started shortly after midnight. The Durable Mat Corporation, located at 75 North Pleasant Street, suffered extensive damage. The company manufactures dock bumpers, tiles and industrial rubberized runners for stores and factories. Norwalk firefighters received mutual aid from the Bellevue Fire Department. An investigation continues into the cause of the fire and no damage estimate has been given. | ||||||
