The Crawford Park District held a different kind of Easter egg hunt on Sunday. A High Tech GPS Easter Egg Hunt was held at Lowe-Volk Park, 2401 Ohio 598 in Crestline. The North Central Ohio Geocachers came up with the idea for the event. North Central Ohio Geocachers member and event co-coordinator Shawn Woerlein said participants were given a GPS or could bring their own GPS to find 10 plastic eggs hidden around the park.
Woerlein said inside each egg was a nature a question the kids would answer on their logsheet to receive a prize. This marked the third year for the High Tech Easter Egg Hunt.
