The Mansfield Board of Control has approved an added expense for the design work for the Middle Bellville Road improvement project.

City Engineer Jim DeSanto says the engineering firm K-E McCartney Associates will be paid another $32,322 for some extra work it has had to do.  

The Board of Control also approved extending the deadline for completing the project by two weeks, from September 28th to October 12th.

DeSanto says he's very pleased with the progress the contractor is making on Middle Bellville Road.

He says they're doing high quality work and all other deadlines are being met.
