Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine was in Ashland Tuesday, holding a Law Enforcement Roundtable discussion. Prosecutors, sheriffs, and police chiefs from an eleven county region attended the meeting at the Ashland County Sheriff's Department, to hear how the attorney general's office can help them. And, with local law enforcement agencies short on cash and understaffed, DeWine says they need as much help as they can get. The 90-minute Law Enforcement Roundtable was closed to the media and public, due to the sensitive nature of the topics discussed. |
