Catholic Charities hosts its fourth annual Women's Financial Tool Kit September 19th. The event has grown to the point where it moves from the Longview Center to the Masonic Temple at twelve-fifty Middle Bellville Road. Catholic Charities Director Rebecca Owens (right, pictured with Jenni Paramore of Directions Credit Union) says there's a reason this seminar is geared toward women. She has found the majority of the agency's clientele is women between the ages of 18 and 40, who keep coming back seeking help. The Women's Financial Tool Kit covers numerous aspects of personal financial planning and money management. Pre-registration is at 8:30 a-m, with the program from nine to three. Registration is $10, but breakfast and lunch will be provided, along with a goodie bag and door prizes. The keynote speaker during lunch will be Ohio Supreme Court Justice Evelyn Lundberg Stratton. |
