With about seven minutes remaining in their game with Olentangy, Lexington led the Braves 21-14, but a couple of bad breaks and a turnover later Lex found themselves on the short end of a 35-21 score. Overall first year head coach at Lexington Dan Studer felt his team played well against a D-1 opponent. This week, Lex looks to get back on the winning track in their first OCC game against the Orrville Red Riders. The Riders started the season fast beating Canal Fulton Northwest 24-20, but have dropped their last two games to Wooster Triway 29-20 and Akron Copley 34-28. Studer says the Riders are young but have played well enough to put themselves in a position to win at the end of the game despite being 1-2. Lex will be looking for some redemtion after getting beat a year ago 35-12. |
