Lexington won a volleyball match at home Thursday night against the Knights of West Holmes. That evened the series after the Knights won on their home court back in August. Despite winning records, both teams still trail league-leading Orrville in the OCC.

Relying on their eight upperclassmen, Lex played relaxed in game one, winning 25-18. Midway through set two, the Knights rallied to take a 19-17 edge. Lex coach, Bobbi Weaver, called a time-out and challenged her kids to "do their jobs." They responded, staving off a set point and going on to win 27-25. Lex rolled in game three, 25-16. Hayley Slaton led Lexington with 11 points, including an ace. Alaina Snyder had 12 kills for the Knights.
