After a tough overtime loss to West Holmes a week ago, Madison jumped back on track with a 49-42 win over the Wooster Generals in a game that was delayed to the following day because of weather.  Rams coach Sean Conway commented that he had not been a part of a game like that which was disrupted by weather.  Nor had he been a part of a game where his offense had accounted for over 550 yards, all of it on the ground with a big part of it coming from Kale Huss who ran for a single game school record 312 yards scoring four touchdowns.

This week the Rams head to Lexington to play the Minutemen who like Madison come in at 4-1, but are 2-0 in OCC play while the Rams are 1-1.  Conway comments that although Lex has a new coach in Dan Studer, they still  are a very physical team with two hard running backs in Brandon Henderson and Andrew Hunt.  Conway also has respect for the passing combination of quarterback Trent Richwine and receiver Bryant Switzer.  Madison stopped Lexington for the first time since 2006 last season 15-8.
