It was just about as big a game as it gets in week 6, with undefeated Colonel Crawford taking on the 4-1 Tigers at Unkrich Stadium and the game would not dissappoint.

On the opening kickoff David Nay would take the kick 88-yards to the house for an early 6-0 Tigers lead. But insuing posession the Eagles would answer the score with a Spencer Tackett 3-yard touchdown run to give Crawford a 7-6 lead.

Next Galion posession Nay would fumble and the Eagles would take advantage of the good field position with a 21-yard strike from Nate Kilingenberger to Austin Adams for a 14-6 advantage. But just 1:03 later Nay would answer back with a 7-yard scamper to cut the lead down to two, but just 59 seconds after that Kamerin Landin would cap off a 5 play 65 yard Eagles drive with a touchdown grab to make it 21-12.

Insuing drive for Galion on their first play Austin Prosser would get picked by Marcus Garverick who would take it all the way back for another Crawford touchdown to give them a two score advantage. After a Galion three and out the Eagles again would put 7-points on the board with an Adams 51-yard touchdown catch and run to make it 35-12.

But just when the Tigers looked like they would have rain poured on their homecoming parade, Galion would come to life with a pair of scores late in the second quarter to make it 35-28 at the half. Then the Tigers would take the lead for good late in the third quarter when Nay would break loose for a 79-yard touchdown run. Galion would tack on a couple of fourth quarter scores and keep the number one scoring offense in the NCC off the board for the entire second half for a 50-35 win.

Nay would run for over 200 yards and score 5 total touchdowns in the game, while teammate Dareian Watkins would grab a pair of touchdown passes in his first action back from minor knee surgery.

Next up for the 5-1 Tigers is a date at Riverdale while 5-1 Crawford would host Bucyrus coming off their first loss of the season.
