The Mansfield Tea Party and the Tea Party Patriots were encouraging people to get out and vote this November by staging a We Built it Rally in Mansfield's Central Park over the weekend.

Mansfield Tea Party Founder Marianne Gasiecki says the public rally was held to emphasize the disposition of our current leaders.

She says they don't seem to think too highly of entrepreneurs and hard-working people and the efforts put forth to be successful and the sacrifices they make to be successful so that's why the theme was We Built It.

Television and movie actress Janine Turner was the keynote speaker who has started a web site called www.ConstitutingAmerica.org.

Turner brought along her teenage daughter who has just written a book called Our Constitution Rocks which is geared toward younger kids to help get them more educated and more exposed to how important the constitution is.
