Fourth, fifth, and sixth graders at Osborne Intermediate School in Ashland are getting a unique educational experience this week, by visiting the Springmill Learning Center in Mansfield. Wednesday was the fifth graders' turn, as they worked with students in the Ashland University Teacher Network. Director for Advising for the College of Education, Adam Sikula, and Osborne Principal Linda McKibben say this program is beneficial to both groups of students by creating mentoring relationships. Osborne fourth graders visited the Springmill Learning Center on Tuesday, with sixth graders coming on Thursday. The Teacher Network project with the students concludes Saturday October 27th when they attend the Ashland University football game. |
