Ohio State University President E. Gordon Gee visited Mansfield Wednesday.

Dr. Gee started at Bio 100 Technologies on West Fourth Street, which produces hard and soft foam for the insulation and automotive industries, using technology developed by students at Ohio State's Wooster campus.

Bio 100 Technologies opened two years ago, and employs twelve people.

It plans to expand over the next five years, bringing the staff to more than sixty.

Gee then joined OSU-Mansfield students for a lunch-hour pizza party on the Ovalwood Plaza, as part of homecoming week activities.

He also toured the Ohio Air National Guard's 179th Airlift Wing at Mansfield Lahm Airport late Wednesday afternoon.
