An investigation continues into an early Saturday morning fire at a home at 328 Crystal Springs Street in Mansfield.

Firefighters arrived on the scene shortly before 2 a.m. at the vacant, two-story home, to find it fully engulfed in flames.

The home was extinguished in about an hour and firefighters remained on the scene for a five-hour period.

One firefighter, Phil Dollish, was injured when he stepped on a nail and was taken to MedCentral Mansfield Hospital for treatment.

Fire officials says the blaze is suspicious in nature.

It is the 30th suspicious house fire in the city since June.
