More than 100 walkers took part in the Mansfield-Richland County CROP Walk which stepped off Sunday afternoon from the downtown Central Park.

CROP Walk Treasurer Diane Miller says 18 local churches took part in the walk, which raises funds to help fight hunger.

Miller says the walk raised $16,000 the past two years and this year's goal was $17,000.

The church which raises the most money wins the coveted Golden Tenney award, followed by Silver Tenney and Bronze Tenney awards for second and third place.
