Ohio Edison customers have been receiving information in the mail about the price control program being offered by First Energy Solutions.

Mansfield-Ashland Area Manager Dan DeVille told the Richland County Commissioners Tuesday about the opportunity customers have to lock-in their killowatt hour rate.  

You can choose between at four-year fixed rate of 6.49 cents or a seven-year fixed rate of 6.99 cents.

You must enroll in the First Energy Solutions Price Control program by October 31st.

You will be entered into a drawing to win $25,000 as part of a "Thanks a Million", million-dollar giveaway. 

The school district of each $25,000 winner will receive $50,000.
