The Mansfield Tygers ran their record to 7-1 on the season with a 28-7 win over the Wooster Generals at Arlin Field.  For the Tygers it was their sixth win in a row, something they have not done since 2000, keeping themselves in first place in the OCC by a game over West Holmes and Madison who both won on Friday.

The Tygers were led on the ground by Keevon Taylor who ran for 131 yards scoring two touchdowns.  Through the air Jalen Reece was 15 out of 25 for 151 yards and one touchdown, as Mansfield jumped out to a 21-0 first half lead.  Wooster's Cam Daugherty was 12 for 27 for 112 yards with two interceptions.  The Generals were led on the ground by Mason Tomblin who ran for 89 yards on 15 carries.  James Preston scored Wooster's only touchdown on a 21 yard catch and run.  In total yards, Wooster outgained Mansfield 358 to 289.  But the Generals turned the ball over three times, two interceptions one fumble.

The win puts Mansfield at 7-1 overall and 5-0 in the OCC, while Wooster falls to 2-6 and 1-4 in conference.
