Two-Vehicle Collision Sends Crestline Man To Hospital

One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision shortly before noon Saturday on Ohio 602 at the intersection of Cox Road in Crawford County.

The sheriff's office says a pickup truck driven southbound on Ohio 602 by Robert Parr, 58, of Crestline attempted to turn left onto Cox Road and pulled into the path of a northbound van driven by  Ralph Kirby, 89, of Crestline.

The impact of the collision caused severe damage to both vehicles.

Kirby was taken to Bucyrus Community Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
