Crestview Schools Supt. Bill Seder Jr. says he wants the district to continue to achieve the highest level of academic success.

At Monday night's school board meeting, Seder talked about the impending district report card due out Wednesday.

Crestview received an "Excellent Rating" from the Ohio Department of Education last year.

Seder says he believes the district will be there again and feels it's something they can celebrate, although the official results will come out Wednesday, but they feel pretty encouraged by what they know right now.

Seder also talked about the school district's five-year financial forecast.

He says they've done some really good financial and fiscal goal work and that work has enabled them to carry the money they're using all the way out through the five-year forecast, so where they're going to continue to spend, they feel pretty good about where they're at as a district financially and hopefully, the community is proud of those efforts as well.

The Crestview Board of Education honored Crestview's Division III state championship golf squad and coach Bob Olewiler, the first in the school's history for capturing a team state title.

The members of the state championship squad are Joshua Brooks, Joe Frazier, Bryce Lutz, Ben Olewiler and Michael Staniford.
