The Mansfield Board of Control tabled all annual bids submitted by Jim DeSanto, prompting the city engineer to leave Tuesday's meeting.

The city is being as frugal as they can in our spending" says Mayor Tim Theaker.  He says the reason they tabled the bids is because there were "pretty significant" increases.

The board also tabled psychological evaluations for the Mansfield Fire Department.  Theaker again says they will see if they levy passes November 6th, and will reevaluate the psychological evaluations then.

The board of control DID approve the purchase of new radios for the Mansfield Police Department. Theaker says the current ones do not function anymore and this is a safety reason for both the police department and citizens of Mansfield.
