Richland County Commissioner Gary Utt took his campaign for re-election to a third term to the Democratic Party luncheon Wednesday.

Utt says his priorities for the next four years are the same as they were in the last eight; to help with workforce development and keep the county's budget balanced.

Utt's opponent in the November election is Republican David Morganstern.

Also speaking at the Democratic Party luncheon were Mansfield Fire Chief John Harsch and Deputy Police Chief Tobie Smith, on the need for passage of a quarter-percent income tax increase to get the city out debt.
