Ashland man found guilty of raping young boy

An Ashland man has been found guilty of raping a young boy. Elmer J. Jones III, 43, was found guilty Wednesday in Ashland County Common Pleas Court of three counts of rape and one count of gross sexual imposition. Jones had anal and oral sex with the victim who is now 12 years old. The rapes occurred between September 2007 and September 2011 and Jan. 31, 2012. Jones will be sentenced Jan. 14. Jones faces a maximum sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole for the rape charges. |
