The Findlay Oilers scored the games first touchdown to take a 7-0 lead over Ashland University at Jack Miller Stadium on Saturday.  Then, the AU Eagles scored the next 35 points enroute to a 42-21 win.  Ashland running back Jordan McCune scored four rushing touchdowns and Anthony Taylor led all runners with 167 yards on 24 carries.

Eagles quarterback Taylor Housewright was 12 of 16 passing for 170 yards and two touchdown passes to Logan Slavinski and Dan Piko.  Housewright has now thrown 363 consecutive passes without an interception, the longest streak in Division II.  Housewright is second only all-time to Russell Wilson, formerly of North Carolina State and now with the Seattle Seahawks 379 consecutive passes without a pick.

With the win the Eagles improve to 9-0 in all games and 8-0 in the GLIAC, Findlay falls to 5-3 overall and in conference.  Ashland U. travels to 1-7 Tiffin University next Saturday for a 1:30 kickoff.  AU is just two wins away from the programs first undefeated season since 1972.
