Several Area Teams Advance To The Post Season

Several area football teams have advanced to the playoffs and will compete in regional quarterfinal games coming up on Friday and Saturday. 

In Division II, 8-2 Mansfield Senior will travel to 10-0 Tiffin Columbian, kickoff at 7:30.  Also in D-2, 9-1 Madison is on the road at 9-1 Westlake, kickoff at 7:30.  In Division IV, 9-1 Galion will travel to 10-0 Richwood North Union, kickoff at 7:30.  In Division VI, 8-2 Colonel Crawford is at 9-1 Glouster Trimble, kickoff at 7:30.  And 6-4 Tiffin Calvert is at 7-3 Norwalk St.Paul, kickoff at 7:30.

On Saturday evening at 7pm, in Division III, 8-2 Elida is at 9-1 Bellevue.  9-1 Indian Creek travels to 9-1 West Holmes, kickoff at 7pm.  In Division V at 7pm, 8-2 Western Reserve travels to 10-0 Lima Central Catholic.  7-3 Hillsdale is at 8-2 Oak Hill, kickoff at 7pm.  And, 8-2 Loudonville is on the road at 8-2 Wynford, kickoff at 7pm.  Winners will adavnce to the regional semifinals next weekend at neutral sites.
