Hurricane Sandy has changed to snow over North Central Ohio. Our area has received around two inches of a very wet snow.

We had some school closings because of snowy roads.

The high wind warning for our area has been canceled with wind speeds down to no more than forty-mile-per-hour gusts.

We remain under a flood watch through the evening.

Acting Richland County Emergency Management Director Keith Markley says two sections of roads are closed in the northern part of the county but the Clear Fork and Black Fork rivers are staying within their banks.

The complete list of closings and delays is on this website, and make sure you sign up for the "Closing Bell to Your Cell" for more immediate information.

When your school or district closes or delays, find out immediately with a text message sent righ to your cell phone! It's a free service and you can sign up on our website at wmfd dot com.
