Eighth Grader Wins Richland County Video Contest

A Mansfield teen is the overall winner of the first "Richland County, A Great Place to Live" video contest, sponsored by the Media Sector of the Richland Community Development Group and the Mansfield Rotary Club. Thirteen-year-old Josiah Moore, a home-schooled eighth-grader, was presented with an I-Pad for his ninety-second video showing snapshots of Richland County's many attractions, at Tuesday's Rotary Club meeting. Josiah's parents Adam and Carie, sister Rebekah, and brother Micaiah attended the award presentatiion. The contest was open to students in kindergarten through twelfth grades, in elementary, middle, and high school divisions. First place winners in each division received $100, with second place finishers getting $50, and third place finishers getting $25. |
